I had put on a lot of weight after my pregnancy. I could not fit into my lovely outfits anymore. People started to tease me. I started to feel embarrassed and frustrated but then I decided to lose weight. Believe it or not! but I did lose 10 kg in 2 months. Let me share my perfect diet plan and exercises to lose weight and flatten the tummy, that worked for me…
(6 AM) Drink 1 lemon squeezed into a glass of warm water, first thing in the morning. Use the straw so it will not wipe out your enamel.
(9 AM) Cornflakes with skim milk (no sugar added)
(10 AM) 1 cup green tea
(12:30 PM) 3 thin chapatis with any half-cooked vegetable in very very less oil.
Recipe: In a microwave safe glass bowl mix cut vegetables, ½ tsp oil, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Microwave for 4-5 minutes. Done!
(1:30 PM) 1 cup green tea
(4 PM) 1 fruit
I mostly used to take orange/tomato or cucumber.
(8 PM) Boiled rice with dal (lentil soup) cooked in very very less ghee (clarified butter)
Recipe: That’s how I prepare rice till date to avoid fat.
*I followed this diet plan strictly for 2 months. I remember those were tasteless days but I was determined. You can lose weight too if you are determined. I used to eat 4-5 raisins sometimes(really just sometimes) to satisfy my sugar cravings.
I used to give 1:30 hour daily to the following activities. These exercises can reduce weight as well as trim the tummy 🙂
Lie down on your back and move your legs as in cycling motion clockwise(30 times) and anti-clockwise (30 times)
Lie on your back with palms down and legs pointing straight up. Remain in this position for 30 seconds, lift your butts 6-8 inches if you can. Repeat it 3-4 times. Start doing by however you can and you can improve gradually.
Note: Please do not do these exercises if you are suffering from back pain or if you are not fit in any way. I just shared what I did to lose my weight. With the diet plan make sure you intake the required amount of sugar and salt(definitely not more but whatever suits you.) and modify the diet plan if you are allergic to something.
