Give smoky flavor to Dal or any dish like Baingan ka bharta

For those who love smoky flavour in their dish, here is how to do it!!

Method :

  1. smoky flavourHeat 1 small piece of coal/charcoal on flame.
  2. When it turns red, turn off the flame.
  3. Put this hot coal piece in a small steel bowl with the help of tong.
  4. Put 1 tsp ghee on it.
  5. It will start to smoke.
  6. Immediately keep this steel bowl on top of your dal/dish and cover the pan with lid.
  7. Let the aroma get infused with dal/dish for 5-6 minutes.
  8. You are done!! enjoy the smoky flavour!!
